Following installation of the system back in December 2023, the training involved basic operation and recording, as well as collecting pilot data on a number of tasks including median nerve and auditory stimulation. It also marks the first site to begin using MNEpython software to analyse Cerca OPM-MEG data, allowing the team to begin using tried and tested analysis pipelines with ease. With every site, Cerca is now providing conversion to a range of standardised formats to help facilitate OPM-MEG analysis in a variety of toolboxes.
The install was part of a brand-new facility that brings together a range of exciting neuroscientific research from wearable neurotechnology to immersive behavioural environments.
